Nate Bassett, RN, CCRN, grew up in the Bangor area and has always enjoyed working and interacting with people. From the moment he took a CNA course in high school, he knew nursing was his calling. He attended Kennebec Valley Community College and began working as a Registered Nurse at Eastern Maine Medical Center in 2002. He accepted a position at LifeFlight in March of 2015 and currently serves as the chair of the organization’s education committee.
Together with his wife, Nate provides foster/adoptive care and currently they have 4 children. When he’s not involved in one of the kid’s activities, Nate likes to golf, snowmobile and spend time outside.
