Mike McDonough, BSN, RN, CEN, CPEN, CCRN, grew up in Greenville and Standish and got his degree from the University of Southern Maine. He worked as a nurse at Maine Medical Center and MaineGeneral Medical Center, as well as at hospitals in Washington DC and San Diego, California.
“I knew I wanted to work in public service,” says Mike. “And nursing is a profession that is always in demand, and always challenging and interesting.”
At LifeFlight, Mike serves on the Education Committee where he helps ensure the clinical crew members maintain current licensing and critical skills. When he’s not caring for patients, Mike is probably backpacking, hunting, reading, or watching football with his friends and family.
